Daniel Crane represents clients in commercial, intellectual property, and construction litigation. Dan joined Kercsmar & Feltus (Kercsmar Feltus & Collins’ predecessor) in March 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Dan worked as an attorney in the commercial litigation group of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, one of the largest firms in the United States. Dan has experience handling all aspects of litigation—from inception through trial and post-trial work, representing clients in both state and federal courts across the nation.
Representative Cases and Clients
- Obtained a multi-million-dollar award on summary judgment for client in real estate development breach of contract dispute.
- Successfully defended fraud and breach of contract claims against a financial institution, obtaining dismissal with prejudice on summary judgment and a fee award.
- Represented an industry-leading developer of aerospace technology in a complex business dispute regarding nondisclosure agreements related to intellectual property and confidential information rights.
- Represented fortune 500 companies in all manner of breach of contract, tort, and complex statutory claims cases ranging from Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act to the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Obtained summary judgment dismissing with prejudice breach of contract claims asserting damages in excess of $2 million against a financial institution.

Community Involvement
Dan regularly represents clients in pro bono matters focusing on international child abductions cases filed pursuant to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction as well as a variety of other matters. Dan was previously an ambassador to the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. Dan also served as the President of a local running club, the Phoenix Free Soles.
Personal
Dan is from Durango, Colorado. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as trail running and mountain biking in the parks in and around Phoenix. He regularly participates in all sorts of endurance races and has raced the Boston Marathon multiple times as well as Ironman-distance triathlons on three continents.
